Lucky Child Special Education Needs Association
Lucky Child Special Education is a non-profit organisation in Mauritius dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs by promoting inclusive learning, empowerment, and equal opportunities. The association works to create a nurturing environment where children can develop their abilities at their own pace through tailored educational support, awareness initiatives, and community engagement.
By collaborating with educators, families, and volunteers, it aims to reduce barriers to learning and ensure that every child is given the opportunity to grow with dignity, confidence, and access to quality education.

At Lucky Child, consultation is where understanding begins. We take time to listen carefully to children, parents, educators, and professionals so that every decision is guided by real needs rather than assumptions.
We provide structured consultations to assess learning, developmental, and behavioural needs in a holistic manner. Our approach is collaborative, bringing together insights from families, teachers, therapists, and specialists to build a clear picture of each child’s situation.
Through these consultations, we help families understand challenges, identify strengths, and explore practical pathways forward. We do not offer one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we work to design personalised recommendations that are realistic, achievable, and focused on long-term progress.

At Lucky Child, care is more than support, it is presence, attention, and dignity in action. We understand that children with special educational needs require not only educational assistance but also consistent emotional, developmental, and practical care that supports their overall wellbeing.
We work closely with families to ensure that every child is understood as an individual, with unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations. Our approach is compassionate and personalised, focusing on building trust with both the child and their caregivers.
Through referrals and partnerships, we help families access therapy services, medical guidance, counselling, and specialised interventions. We also provide orientation and follow up support so that parents are not left alone in navigating complex systems.
Our care extends beyond the child to the family unit. We listen, we guide, and we stand alongside parents during moments of uncertainty, helping them make informed decisions with confidence.
We believe that consistent care builds stability, and stability creates the conditions for growth. When children feel safe and supported, they are better able to learn, express themselves, and engage with the world around them.
